    Ticketing system Extension is support system that allows your customers to generate new tickets regarding their issues and queries.

    Ticketing system extension allows your customer to post tickets to Admin regarding their issues and queries. Extension is useful for support and work as communication between you and client.

    Ticketing system is basically a support system which enhances the customer experience and facilitates you to know your customer's problems, queries, issues and needs. Customers can generate new tickets regarding their complains, suggessions or queries. Once customer has posted a ticket he/she can manage/view the list of previously posted tickets as well. This can be done by sending email to customer with permanent encrypted url.

    How it works:

    To configure the extension navigate to System > Configuration > PROTECH EXTENSION > Ticketing System and set the extension enabled to "yes" to enable the working of extension , allow tickets to customers only or both customers and guests, change fontend heading, ticket heading and New ticket form heading.     Depending on permissions by backend admin the frontend can be accessed by logged-in user or guest and logged-in user.

    On customer dashboard tickets can be managed. To Create a new ticket click on "New Ticket" button fill-in the form and submit. Once the ticket is submitted admin is notified and the status would be "open".

    On further admin can comment on same ticket if further details are required. When the admin comment is placed it is received by the customer ticket and dispalyed on frontend.

    Configuration

    Once the ticket has been resolved the admin can mark the ticket to closed. Admin can see all the tickets in a grid view. By clicking any of the grid item, the details of the tickets are displayed.

    On customer dashboard the tickets are displayed as history items. Customer can view the previous posted tickets along with details by clicking view button against a ticket.
